Delivering Practical Support to Veterans and Communities

NMPMA Chapter 38 is a 501(c)3 veteran-led service organization committed to honoring the legacy of the Montford Point Marines through programs that promote veteran health, stability, dignity, education, and community connection. Our work includes Operation Cancer Care, veteran advocacy and outreach, family-support initiatives, youth and scholarship activities, community partnerships, and programs that preserve the history and contributions of the first African Americans to serve in the United States Marine Corps.

Programs:

• Veteran Health & Wellness:  Operation Cancer Care, hospital visits, comfort-care support, caregiver resources
• Veteran Advocacy & Benefits Support:  benefits claims assistance, resource referrals, VSO outreach
• Community Service & Family Support:  Food assistance, holiday outreach, emergency support, partnerships
• Youth, Education & Legacy Preservation:  scholarships, mentoring, public education, Montford Point history
• Membership, Leadership & Brotherhood:  Recruitment, leadership development, chapter outreach engagement
